Sweet & Heat Shrimp Lettuce Wraps are a tasty way to eat shrimp.  With only a few ingredients, this recipe takes only minutes to prepare.  And not only is it a quick dish, but it’s pretty healthy.

Mama Fawn’s Tips. . .

  •  Have all your ingredients ready to go because this dish cooks fast.
  • Not a fan of shrimp?  Then use a pound of chopped chicken breast.
  • This dish would be absolutely delicious as a taco, by using flour or corn tortillas.
  • Want it a little bit more spicy?  Add an extra tablespoon of gochujang .
  • Add shredded carrots and green onion for some extra crunch and taste.
  • Do not over cook the Shrimp or they will be tough.

A light and flavorful meal without any guilt.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Gochujang chili sauce

  • 2 tbsp lime juice

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced finely

  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced finely

  • 1 lb. shrimp, deveined and chopped

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • Lettuce leaves

Directions

  • Combine the gochujang, lime juice, honey, garlic and ginger in a small bowl.
  • Add the chopped shrimp and mix well.
  • Add the vegetable oil to a skillet and heat to medium- high. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes. Drain before serving.
  • To serve, spoon several tablespoons of the shrimp into the center of a lettuce leaf, taco style.
