Shrimp Toast

Shrimp Toast

“The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. . . ” Psalm 19:8

Shrimp Toast is a delicious appetizer the whole family is going to love.

Shrimp Toast– for some reason my family thinks this is funny.  Not the toast but the name.  As soon as I tell them I’m going to serve them, it becomes a joke with them.  They start calling it Shrimp Toes…. And does shrimp really have toes?  And if they do, do we want to eat them?  (rolling my eyes right now).

But let me tell you, Shrimp toast is no laughing matter.  Nope.  They are absolutely scrumptious.  Everyone that eats them, loves them.  You really do not need anything else to serve as an appetizer when you serve these because all your guest will want to do is devour these.  Test me on this.  This is how good they are.

I have been serving these on Mother’s Day the last couple of years and my daughter positively loves Shrimp Toast.  If there are any leftovers (which it does make a good amount), she will take them home with her for another meal.

Mama Fawn’s Tips. . .

  • Cooking the shrimp ahead of time will decrease the prep time when making the Shrimp Toast.
  • To get the best flavors of this recipe, make sure you have the best ingredients possible.
  • I use fresh mozzarella and parmesan but the bagged cheeses are fine also.
